Customer Review: LASKO 2138 8-Inch Dual Window Fan
AWESOME - how have i lived here all these years without this- Turns on when temp rises and the fans are independent - really nice and economical. The window it is in is IN the house, between 2 rooms. Put the Fan in the top of the window to help circulate air thru-out the house - works so well my utility bills are down by 10%!!
Customer Review: UNSAFE!!!!
This fan is extremely unsafe. I placed the fan in the window of my apartment only to be awoken by the smell of burning plastic. The right fan motor stopped working at some point in the night and became scorching hot. It was the second use of this fan after purchase. This fan is extremely UNSAFE!!!!

Customer Review: stop working after 1 month
the fan won't move just after 1 month use. I cannot find how to return this trash to the seller. It says the returnable date is over by Aug. 2. what the horrible situation....
Customer Review: I can blow harder!
Horrible fan, it is quiet because it doesn't move the air! I thought that is what a fan is supposed to do, move the cool night air into the house! This one, the air can be barely felt even on high, like I said I could blow harder. If you want to move air into a house do not get this fan. I got it because at the time of my purchase the reviews were good.

Lasko Electrically Reversible Window Fan, 16 Inches, 2155A

The 16" Electrically Reversible Window Fan powerfully circulates air through two to three rooms. Plus, its exclusive Storm GuardTM feature allows you to close the window behind fan for safety and security during inclement weather or while you're away. Made in USA.
Customer Review: Okay for the Amazon Price
I brought the Lasko 16 inch Reversible Window Fan to replace a similar Galaxy brand fan I that I had used for over 20 years. I didn't expect a 16 inch fan to cool the whole 2 story house and it doesn't. The Lasko performs almost as well as the Galaxy, but is much noisier at high speeds. I had investigated 16 and 20 inch window fans for twice the price or more. If the Lasko last as long as my previous window fan, I think for the price I got a good product for a good price. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the noise.
Customer Review: Lasko fan works great!
If you want to use a fan to help cool down your house during the cool summer nights then this fan works great. I could not put it in the bedroom as it is not quiet enough. However I put it in a room on the same floor as the bedrooms and ran it in either the low or medium setting and it drew lots of cool air into the bedroom from outside and did a great job. Very effective. We never ran our central air. We just shut the house down by mid morning. Then at night open it up and suck the cool air in.

Customer Review: Not bad for the price
This fan blows more outward than straight unlike my 15 year old Advantage window fan. It's great for cooling the entire room but for being close by it for the air to blow in your direction not so. The plastic is sturdy, the fan seems pretty well built. Unfortunately their is no way to open the fan to clean it. The Thermastat control seems only there for looks, I see no point in it since I haven't notice a difference, if you turn the thermastat down the fan stops so that was something that was a let down. But the individual reversible fan blades are a +. This is about as much as I noticed aboue this fan.
